Please Hubby..

Sometimes I tease my hubby that his tummy is getting bigger. He gains weight because he eats a lot. I told him to eat fish and vegetables. Hubby loves to eat carbohydrates like rice and protein like pork and chicken that makes him fat. I suggest that he will wake up early in the morning and do exercise or jog. Well, it’s impossible because he is nocturnal person. I told him to read some diet pill reviews so that he will be convince and determined to lose weight faster. I hope this time he will listen to me.

Toddler Eating Problems

As parents, there are some practical ways we can use to minimise the toddler eating problems such as follows:

* Encourage your child to try new foods - Vary your toddler’s diet in texture, taste, colour and temperature. Like adults, toddlers appreciate a variety of cuisine. They may enjoy a sandwich or pasta for a change, instead of rice porridge with fish and spinach everyday.

* Be creative when serving food that your toddlers dislike - If they do not fancy green leafy vegetables , serve them in delightful ways. For example, turn them into crunchy finger food.

* Don't serve heavily spiced foods - Most children don't like very spicy food. Your child may reject a particular food entirely in the future if he has a bad taste experience because he tasted it heavily spiced.

* Offer choices that appeal to a toddler’s sense of independence - For example, instead of large meals, you can offer your child mini meals. The choices you offer will help you avoid a battle of wills. Should you choose this method, ensure that the choices you give are well defined.

* Keep regular mealtimes - this is to prevent your child from relying on erratic snacks to curb hunger.

* Model a balanced diet yourself - Your young child should see you consuming healthy foods and limiting sweets, salty snacks, and soft drinks yourself.

* Sit and eat together as a family - focus on each other instead of television shows and other distractions. Do not allow your child to bring toys to the table.

They are FAT!

It’s funny that Kyla is getting fat when I cut her long hair to a medium size. I noticed it that she eats a lot. I don’t think if it is true that the nutrients she had in her body puts all into her hair that is why she is thin. I doubt it.

By the way hubby noticed that he is getting heavy for he gains weight a lot. I suggest that he will look for the best diet pill in some drug store if he wants to lose weight faster. I hope hubby will not be hard headed this time. He will listen to my suggestion. I hope so!

We are here!

We are now in Pikit, Cotabato to attend the wedding tomorrow. My daughter Kyla is one of the flower girls of hubby’s cousin. It’s Kyla’s first time to ride in a bus for 4 and half hours. She enjoyed watching the houses, rice fields, church of Muslim and many more. Kyla just sleep for one hour. Gosh! She is so talkative in the bus. Kyla asks everything she saw, which is new to her. We had a safe trip going here. I thank you Lord.

I saw on TV that there are many programmer jobs available in the Asia especially in Japan. My friend wants to work abroad and so this is good news for him.

Swine Flu Symptoms

According to the CDC, like seasonal flu, symptoms of swine flu infections can include:

Signs of a more serious swine flu infection might include pneumonia and respiratory failure.

If your child has symptoms of swine flu, you should avoid other people and call your pediatrician who might do a rapid flu test to see if he has an influenza A infection. Further testing can then be done to see if it is a swine flu infection. (Samples are being sent to local and state health departments and the CDC for confirmation of swine flu.)
