Kyla Wants..

1. Kyla wants to be hug and kiss by us. (Mama and Papa)

2. Kyla wants us to give our full attention to her because she is a jealous kid like her Papa.

3. Kyla wants to collect DORA stuff.

4. Kyla wants to watch DORA the explorer, Barney, Spongebob, Wonder Pets and everything at ABC 5 every morning.

5. Kyla wants to be treated like a baby though she is not because she is already 4 years old.

I know you know what your daughter wants so why not join me and write about this post. I hope all moms out there will do what I did.

The Reason..

kylaInvi..so busy this week guys for this event. Kyla is so excited! She keeps on counting the night that she will be sleeping before her birthday. It’s her first time to have a children’s party at home. We always celebrate her birthday in a beach or resort together with our both sides. We all enjoyed swimming in a pool. Now, she will experience being the apple of the eye of everyone and she will know how to entertain her visitors. Until here guys because I need to do a list on what will be the prizes for the games. Whew! So hard to be a mom but happy.

Is this true?

Next week will be the examination week of my tutees. Whew! I will be busy doing their reviewer or questionnaire. Its overtime! My hands will be in pain of writing so many questions. Well, that’s my work as a tutor but I am happy doing it though it’s tiring because I will be sleeping late. That’s their last exam or final exam because after that is their summer vacation. I can rest for 2 months. I am undecided to be a tutor next year because hubby wants me to tutor my daughter. I hope I can have more patience because I am temper. That’s the reality! You easily get irritated if you are teaching with your own child but you have patience with other kids. Ano ba yan? Hehe..

Kyla's New Toy

I forgot to take some photo of Kyla’s new doll. Cherry gave it to her as her late Christmas gift. When I got it from her house, I know Kyla will be happy because she is the number one fan of Dora the explorer. It adds to her doll collection. Kyla keeps on combing Dora’s hair because it has combed and hair clips. Sometimes, she will let Dora sleep with her. LOL!

Papa's Girl

IMG_5589When my daughter is sleeping, I and hubby have the same comment that our baby Kyla is a big girl. Kyla is turning 4 years old this coming March 20. Hubby told me that he wants Kyla to stay being a toddler. It’s impossible because she is growing. I know he wants her little girl to kiss and hug her because when Kyla will be a lady. Absolutely, she will not kiss and hug her Papa because she will be shy to others. LOL! That’s reality. Well, she is Papa’s girl. Hubby is out of town, Kyla is sad because she missed her Papa. Hmm..me too, I miss hubby.

Safety measures to be taken when buying child clothing

Here are some points to note on safety of children before you buy your child clothing :

1. Ensure that small items attached to clothing are not easily detached or removed
Small items such as buttons, zipper pull, snaps or any decorative sequines should not be easily detach from your child clothing as this poses a choking hazard to young children.

2. Avoid hazardous items such as drawstrings
Children's jackets and sweatshirts with drawstrings around the hood or neck of children's outerwear presents a strangulation hazard. Children can get entangled and strangle in the drawstrings that catch on objects, including playground equipment, fences and tree branches.

3. Avoid Flammable Loose-Fitting Garments
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) warns people not to put children to sleep in loose-fitting T-shirts or other over-size clothes made from cotton or cotton blends. These garments can catch fire easily and are associated with 200 to 300 emergency room-treated burn injuries to children annually. Loose-fitting clothing stands away from the body, making contact with an ignition source more likely. Loose-fitting, non-flame-resistant child clothing allows an air space next to the body that helps keep the fire burning, possibly injuring children.

4. Check for sharp objects in your child clothing
A decorative items such as pin may get detach causing a puncture wound on your child body.
